Planning and Development

The SamTrans Planning and Development Division is committed to improving the quality of life of San Mateo County by ensuring integrated land use and transportation planning. SamTrans, as the mobility leader, has several important planning efforts underway to address future needs of the system. These efforts seek to change the way the public thinks about transit and ensure its place as the preeminent way people will seek to reduce their travel costs and carbon footprint into the future.
