Third Party Environmental Review

The Environmental Planning group is involved with the oversight of the Environmental Review process as required by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). We review and comment on environmental documents that may impact Samtrans operations and its link to other transportation systems in San Mateo County. Types of third party projects include City led capital improvement and development projects and updates to General and Specific Plans.

For more information or to request a participation with a third party project, please contact Hilda Lafebre, Manager of Capital Projects and Environmental Planning, at or at (650) 622-7842.
