We empower individuals, governments and organizations through knowledge and learning to effectively overcome contemporary global challenges.  Our training targets two key groups of beneficiaries: the delegates to the United Nations and others who develop intergovernmental agreements establishing global norms, policies, and programmes, and the key national change agents who turn the global agreements into action at the national level.  Read more

UNITAR offers a diverse range of training and training-related activities under the six thematic areas through face-to-face courses, events and e-Learning courses.  Some courses are open to the public and free-of-charge, while others are fee-based and targeted to a specific group of participants.  Our courses and events could last from a half-day conference to a several-month long programme.  We also engage in training-related and other advisory support services for governments to achieve broader social and economic development outcomes.
