Stanford Arts is hiring a Projects and Grants intern for the 2015-1616 academic year. This is a paid position that lasts through June 2016.
Description: Stanford Arts is seeking an arts-interested student who wants to gain experience in arts administration and higher education. The Projects and Grants intern will work primarily with the Director of Finance and Operations and the Projects and Grants Manager. Projects will include on-going grant reviewing, website maintenance, and program communications, as well as short-term projects. Apply now!
Requirements: Current Stanford undergraduate or graduate student . Excellent writing skills and the ability to summarize for briefings. Knowledge of the Stanford arts community (theater, music, visual arts, dance, film) is helpful but not required. Experience with WordPress is a plus. Able to work approximately 5 hours a week with the opportunity to work more hours when available.
Tasks and Projects may include:
- Oversee Spark! grant quarterly communications
- Assist with Spark! grant application review on a quarterly basis
- Maintain grantee online profiles
- Review and maintain the Art Spaces website
- Assist with mailings and distributions
