Student Programming and Outreach Interns

Assist with Stanford Arts student programs and events, social media, and student newsletter.

 

Stanford Arts is hiring three Student Programming and Outreach Interns to assist the Arts in Student Life Coordinator for the 2015-16 academic year. These are paid positions starting at $14/hour that last through June 2016,.

 

Description: 
Stanford Arts is seeking passionate, arts-interested students who want to gain experience in arts administration to join a team of two to three interns. Interns have weekly tasks (such as creating the weekly ArtsUpdate email) in addition to working on longer-term projects. This year’s team will collaborate on planning arts events around campus and may assist with the transition away from the Your Art Here program. Interns will also help curate and maintain our social media presence and update our website content. Requirements:
 Current Stanford undergraduate student
. Reliable and dependable with excellent attention to detail. 
Passionate and knowledgeable about the arts at Stanford. Able to work approximately 5-8 hours a week with the opportunity to work more hours when available.

 

Tasks and Projects may include:

  • Assemble weekly ArtsUpdate email
  • Create quarterly Creativity Course Guides
  • Curate and maintain social media presence
  • Assist with planning and publicity for arts-related events
  • Assist with the transition of the Your Art Here gallery program
  • Help compile summer internship information and resources
  • Assist the Arts in Student Life Coordinator on student arts projects and programs
