Assistant Vice President Finance and Facilities, Business Affairs

Noel began her career at Stanford as a consultant assisting with Business Affairs Budgeting in 2001.  She was hired as the Budget Officer for Business Affairs in 2002 and was promoted to Director, Business Affairs Budget and Facilities in 2007 and Assistant Vice President in 2009.

She has oversight and management responsibility for capital and facilities planning, renovations, and space allocation for all Business Affairs organizations.  In the financial part of her role, she has management and leadership responsibility for department budget officers, as well as the budget and financial reporting process for the Business Affairs Organization. 

Noel  is a financial and operations executive with over 25 years experience in high technology start ups, mid-sized companies and the university, with over 10 years at the senior staff level in VP of Finance & Operations, and CFO roles.

Noel is a CPA, and has a Bachelors Degree in Business from Cal State University, Sacramento, with concentrations in Accounting and Management Information Systems.
