Vijay Pande is the Recipient of the 2015 Delano Award for Computational Biosciences

Professor Vijay Pande is the recipient of the 2015 Delano Award for Computational Biosciences.

Professor Pande, a professor of chemistry at Stanford University, is recognized for his innovative development of computational technologies that enable life-science research at the molecular level.

As the Founder of the Folding@Home project, it has helped pushed the frontiers of scientific crowdsourcing.

The DeLano Award for Computational Biosciences was established by family, friends and colleagues to honor the legacy of Warren L. DeLano.  The award is given to a scientist for the most accessible and innovative development to enhance research in the life sciences at the molecular level.
