Lawrence Ryan

Larry Ryan is an authority on the literature and culture of the Renaissance in England and Italy. He served as associate dean in the School of Humanities and Sciences, and as director of Freshman English, the Special Programs in the Humanities,  and the Program in Structured Liberal Education. For his innovative and distinguished contributions to undergraduate education he received the Dinkelspiel Award. He is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship.
