Eugenia León
Since she began her solo career in 1982, vocalist Eugenia León has become a Mexican cultural icon. She got her start in the New Song Movement—Latin America’s equivalent to the rise of Bob Dylan and company north of the border and in Europe—and her recording career is prolific. With a repertoire that pairs songs by contemporary composers with traditional music of Latin America and Mexico, León regularly packs top venues in Mexico, fulfilling her fans’ expectations of passionate performances.
