Tuesday, March 22.  All Day (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).  Off/Near Campus.


Day-long workshop on the characteristics, processes, and dynamics of successful interdisciplinary collaborations.  Open to faculty across all science and engineering.
Whether you are about to start a new project or you are in the middle of one, this workshop is for you.  By the end of the workshop, participants will:

  • Learn how to initiate, conduct and evaluate a collaborative team science project,  
  • Develop strategies to manage conflict among researchers working across disciplines,
  • Learn how team collaborations are evaluated in promotion at Stanford, and
  • Hear from invited experts from NIH and NSF about the opportunities and the review processes at their respective agencies.
