2016 Season:
Indoors

  • Ran the 1,200 leadoff leg on Stanford's third-place distance medley relay team at the NCAA Championships, earning her third first-team All-America track honor.
  • Ran 3:24.04 split.
  • In her first race since 2015 NCAA Outdoors, after injury, won the Iowa State Classic mile in a personal best 4:38.44 on Feb. 13.
  • Ran one other race, the 3,000 at the MPSF Championships, and placed eighth in 9:18.18.

2015 Season:
Outdoors

  • First true freshman to reach the NCAA 1,500 final in four years.
  • Placed 10th in NCAA final at 4:24.40, earning second-team All-America honors.
  • Ran the third leg on the winning 4x1500 at the Penn Relays, Stanford's first victory at the meet in any event since 2006 (17:24.54).
  • Also anchored Stanford to second in the distance medley relay (11:11.07).
  • First Stanford NCAA 1,500 finalist since 2009
  • Ran season best in the 1,500 of 4:14.05, good for fourth at the Pac-12 Championships.
  • 1,500 No. 2 frosh all-time Stanford (4:14.05)
  • Pac-12 Women’s Track Athlete of the Week after her performances at the Penn Relays  (April 27).
  • Second in the Big Meet 1,500 (4:18.36) and third in the 800 (2:08.26).

Indoors

  • Set U.S. junior indoor record in the 3,000 meters, running 8:58.88 to place second in the NCAA Championships to Dominique Scott of Arkansas on March 14, 2015.
  • Earned two first-team All-America honors indoors, in the 3,000 and distance medley relay, placing second in each.
  • Anchored Stanford to second in the NCAA distance medley relay in a school-record time of 10:53.66, running 4:31.50 for 1,600.
  • Eighth in the 800 (2:07.06) at the MPSF Championships.
  • Won DMR at the MPSF Championships in 11:02.98.
  • Made collegiate track debut by placing fourth in the 1,000 meters in 2:42.39 at the UW Indoor Previw.

Cross Country:

  • 2014 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year
  • Highest-finishing freshman in the country at the NCAA Championships, placing 12th.
  • Placed 12th in Terre Haute (20:17.0; 6K) to earn first All-America honor.
  • Second at the Pac-12 Championships in Oakland (20:04, 6K) to Arizona State's Shelby Houlihan.
  • Won the Washington Invitational (20:11, 6K) on Oct. 4 in her collegiate debut.

International:

  • Placed fourth in the 1,500 at the IAAF World Junior Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Ore., on July 28, 2014.
  • Ran 4:12.82, and was the top American and fastest non-African in that race.

High School:

  • Ran 4:10.95 for 1,500 at Stanford's Payton Jordan Invitational in 2014.
  • The time made her the No. 3 high school performance all-time at that distance, and the No. 5 U.S. junior ever.
  • Converting all 1,500 and 1,600 times to miles, Cranny's 4:31.03c is No. 3 ever among high schoolers.
  • Only three college runners were faster than Cranny's 4:10.95 in 2014, and two were NCAA champions.
  • Second at the 2014 U.S. junior nationals in the 1,500.
  • Won the 2014 U.S. junior national cross country title.
  • Best 800 of 2:04.81 was the No. 3 high school time in the country in 2014.
  • At Niwot (Colo.) High School, won two cross country state 4A titles.
  • In track, Cranny swept the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 at state (4A) as a junior and senior.
  • Broke state records in the 1,600 (4:47.56) and 3,200 (10:17.48) that had stood for more than two decades.
  • Graduated with a 4.34 GPA as a member of the National Honor Society.
  • Dropped her best mile time from 4:58 as a sophomore to 4:40.62 to win the 2013 New Balance Indoor Nationals in what stands as the fifth-fastest high school indoor time ever.
  • In cross country, Cranny broke the previous course record at the Nike Cross Nationals, placing second in 16:53.8 for 5 kilometers (her XC best is 16:45).
  • 2014 cross country season included a Colorado Class 4A title in a course record and the Nike Cross Southwest Regional title.
  • Named Colorado Gatorade Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year.
  • Led Niwot to the 2013 state 4A team track title.
