Jonathan Shaw

Dr.  Jonathan Shaw received a B.A. in Philosophy from Yale University in 1999 and an MD from Harvard Medical School in 2006.  While completing his internship and residency in family medicine at the Oregon Health and Science University from 2007-2009, he obtained additional training as a visiting scholar in Mbabane, Swaziland via the Baylor International Pediatric AIDS Initiative.  He has also had experience providing maternal and infant care in rural Guatemala.  After completing residency he practiced in a community health center serving a mostly Latino immigrant population.  His interests include women's health, the impact of health policies on vulnerable and underserved populations, and research to improve primary care delivery to these groups.
