Visiting Campus

Walk the Stanford Campus

Student-led walking tours are a great way to explore Stanford University’s vast resources and gorgeous campus and get insider perspective on life at Stanford. Tours are offered twice daily — at 11 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. — seven days a week year-round, except during winter holiday break (mid-December through the first week of January) and certain other holiday periods.

Student guides are well-versed in Stanford history, academic offerings, student life, and campus landmarks. Tours include the Main Quad, Memorial Church, science and engineering buildings, and two main libraries. Your journey will last about an hour, departing from the Stanford Visitor Center at 295 Galvez Street at Campus Drive.
