Chemistry & Chemical Engineering study area
About
As you enter the library, a small room on the left has three computers and four lounge chairs. Natural light from large windows, a couple of plants, and a coffee table make this a comfortable place to work or chat with colleagues.
The reference room contains an abundance of natural lighting as well as four large tables. A scanning workstation is located by the front entrance of the room. People in this room are usually quiet, but space is occasionally used by people working in groups.
Windows on the outer wall continue into the back reading room that is divided into two areas. The front section has five round tables that people use individually or in small groups. The back section has eight computers that double as a training area and an open computer cluster.
The back alcove at the end of the main hall in the library has a table with three chairs, a whiteboard, two lounge chairs, and a black & white printer. This area is used for quiet conversations and group study.
Electric power bars located on all of the tables allow you to plugin or charge a battery in your electronic device.
Picnic tables and benches located outside the library entrance are available for users who would prefer to be outdoors.
