Stanford Undergraduate Psychology Association (SUPA)

SUPA exists to keep undergraduates aware of important information regarding Stanford’s psychology major and the Department, provide forums for the hundreds of undergraduates in the Department to get to know one another, and provide a venue for undergraduate opinions and concerns. Please visit SUPA here for more information.

Black Psychology Students Association (BPSA)

The Black Psychology Students Association is a student group geared towards preparing students of color for the Psychology major at Stanford University and increasing the number of undergraduate and graduate students of color in the field. They aim to do this through providing students with advising and networking opportunities, academic and research assistance, community outreach, and professional guidance. Examples of our many programs include Faculty Dinners with professors from Stanford University's Psychology Department, SPSS Workshops, and Alumni Events.

The Black Psychology Students Association welcomes all students interested in pursuing psychology as a major, minor or graduate student or anyone interested in a career-related field to become involved in our organization. This can be done by attending our weekly meetings and our many events. If you have any questions about BPSA or Psychology feel free to contact us.

BPSA Psych Guide

The Psych Guide is your source of information about psychology at Stanford. We surveyed over 20 undergraduate psychology majors to compile this guide, and we combined these opinions with information on such topics as major requirements,  summer opportunities, and writing a thesis. It includes helpful information about the major and psych-related academic resources, but, most importantly, it includes the opinions of Stanford psychology majors about classes, faculty, research, careers, and more. We hope that this information and these opinions will make your path to academic success a bit easier to travel.
