Six smiling new students

New students gather at the President's Reception, a highlight of New Graduate Student Orientation.

VPGE 2013

Stanford's commitment to diversity begins at recruitment. The VPGE office supports departmental efforts to recruit graduate students who participate in and contribute to our diverse community.

Prospective students may want to learn more about campus opportunities by visiting campus and by talking to the school-based Diversity Officers.

School Diversity Officers

Specialized Diversity Officers are available through each school to answer prospective students' questions about graduate student life, admissions, funding, housing, summer opportunities, and more.
