Pampa Energia SA is an Argentina-based integrated electricity company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity in Argentina. Its generation business has an aggregate installed capacity of 2,217 megawatt (MW). Its transmission business co-controls Transener, which operates the high voltage electricity transmission system in Argentina, covering around 11.7 thousand kilometers of lines, as well as 6.1 thousand kilometers of high tension lines from its subsidiary Transba. It is engaged in the electricity distribution business through its subsidiary Edenor, which holds a concession to distribute electricity on an exclusive basis to the northwestern zone of the greater Buenos Aires metropolitan area and the northern portion of the City of Buenos Aires, comprising an area of 4,637 square kilometers. In addition, the Company is involved in the extraction, production and marketing of oil and gas products.
