no sound at all=problem?
-
"Silent" means without diegetic sound (sound that can be heard by the characters, such as dialogue). Most silent films are nevertheless meant to be accompanied by music.
Watching a silent film without the music is just as bad as watching a "talkie" without the music; it completely disrupts the viewing experience.
Try watching a "talkie" with subtitles, but without sound. You'll notice that it's nowhere near as good (even if the spoken dialogue is in a language you do not speak).

This film is brilliant looking at the actors and actresses during this time is truly timeless. Before the lines of the scenes come up, just watching how they interact is amazing. The viewer already can depict what is going on in each scene before reading the lines. This is acting at its best as well as movie directing.

NO wonder it is free to watch. Hell, they didn't give up any lines til now. Later on down the film. WOW> No wonder times have changed. LOL.

Wow, what happen to the words that accommodated the film in between lines spoken. HELLO!
