This year, our Top 10 Toys for Christmas focuses on toys that entertain, engage and inspire. Five of the Top 10 are electronic, reflecting technology's popularity in the toy market and two are exclusive Lego toys -- a Cool Cruiser and Sort and Store Head which sorts up to 1,000 small, medium and large Lego pieces. And the popularity of TV talent shows sees two musical toys enter this year's Top 10: a voice-changing microphone which automatically corrects pitch and a giant piano mat inspired by the piano in the Tom Hanks film, Big.
In this video, we asked the children from Broughton Manor Prep school to give our Top 10 Toys a practice run - they had lots of fun on the day!

We decided to get the experts to test some of the latest toys. They happily got stuck in and put every toy through its paces. Anything technical proved to be popular thanks to the mesmerising Hexbugs ,
Spy Cam helicopter and digital cameras, while the Doctor Who Ride-in Dalek caused a lot of excitement. Of course, the classics were also a favourite, with the Gruffalo book and puppet sets making the perfect gifts.
