Policy and Oversight

The Policy Oversight and Training Division at EPA is responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining acquisition regulations and policies
  • Maintaining directives and guidance related to green procurement
  • Administering the Agency’s Government Purchase Card Program
  • Managing the acquisition training program
  • Responding to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Requests
  • Providing oversight in acquisition matters
  • Performing contract financial monitoring
  • Managing the contract audit resolution program
  • Approving indirect cost rates for contractors and State agencies
  • Providing acquisition support to EPA’s contracting community
