Students rush between classrooms; bicycles go handlebar to handlebar through roundabouts, and the wind whips through the Oval on winter mornings. But amid the hustle and bustle of the Main Quad, there are perches of absolute stillness—like the one this hawk found on Johannes Gutenberg’s head.
