About

Chris is a writer and documentary filmmaker from Philadelphia, PA. His short film Trashcanland premiered at the Independent Film Festival of Boston in 2014. His other films have screened extensively throughout the US and Canada. Chris has worked as an editor, director of photography and producer for TedX, Fight for the Future, Mt. Holyoke College, Haverford College, Wizards of the Coast and Sub Pop Records.

In addition to his video work, Chris has a Master of Fine Arts from the Program for Poets and Writers at the University Massachusetts, Amherst and has taught composition, graphic novel and creative writing courses there, as well as Widener University and the University of the Arts, in Philadelphia.  His work has appeared in journals such as American Letters and Commentary, Jubilat, Leveler, Bateau and Flying Object online.

Chris comes to documentary filmmaking looking to tell unconventional stories through lyrical means. His interests include archaic technologies and essay films.
