Stanford global studies internship program
The Stanford Global Studies (SGS) Division offers highly qualified Stanford students an opportunity to extend classroom knowledge of the world, to immersive cultural and working experiences through the Global Studies Internship Program. Internship positions cover a wide range of fields, including business, non-profit, media, education, medicine, art, technology, science and government. Currently enrolled freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and coterms at Stanford in ALL majors are eligible to apply, including undeclared students. Each summer, Stanford in Government (SIG) offers a fellowship with the non-profit Enterprise and Self-sustainability Team (NESsT) in Budapest, Hungary. For information about the program, including applications and deadlines, please consult the SIG website.

CREEES offers grants of $2000 toward the cost of a continuing Stanford undergraduate's summer language study, which may be undertaken in one of several countries. Summer FLAS Fellowships pay tuition at a summer language program and provide a $2500 stipend for living and travel expenses. For details, see the Grants & Fellowships page.
