Christopher Warren (English, Carnegie Mellon University): "Six Degrees of Francis Bacon"

Please join us for the fifth and final event of this academic year in our series, "Nodes, Networks, Names: Recovering, Understanding, Representing Them."

Assistant Professor Christopher Warren (English, Carnegie Mellon University) will discuss the collaborative project, Six Degrees of Francis Bacon, which learns from centuries of “inky” data and meta-data, remediating text to make the early modern social network more accessible, extensible, collaborative, and interoperable.

Lunch will be served.
