Application Deadline

Applications for the 2016-17 academic year are due by January 5, 2016.  All materials must be received by 11:59 pm PST.

Applicants who are offered admission to IPS may matriculate in Autumn Quarter only in a given academic year.

Please visit Graduate Admissions to apply to IPS. The online application for the 2016-17 academic year will be available on September 15.

There is a non-refundable $125 application fee.

Application Requirements

• Statement of Purpose

• Three Letters of Recommendation

• Official Transcripts

  • One copy must be scanned and uploaded to the online application

  • Two hard copies must be sent to IPS (see mailing address below)

• Official GRE Scores (sent via ETS)

• TOEFL Scores (sent via ETS)

  • Required for international applicants whose primary language is not English

• Writing Sample

  • Academic writing sample, in English

    • 7-15 pages, double-spaced

    • Topic should be related to international policy; however, a piece of analytical writing in another field is acceptable

• Resume/CV
