Service Groups

Application Services is the software development arm of IRT. The group supports the School's missions through the use of innovative technology. Working in concert with other IRT organizations and directly with the Medical School community, we build web and desktop applications which support biomedical research, education, information retrieval, collaboration, and other mission critical business functions.

AV Technology provides the AV standards for buildings throughout the School of Medicine. Our team consists of a high-level, specialized group of individuals. We support over 5 buildings, maintain over 250 computers, and manage over 8,000 pieces of audio-video technology. In addition to the learning spaces, we maintain the MediaFlow Core System which delivers over 10,000 hours of content per year to our medical students and community. The AV Technology department also maintains a groundbreaking Simulation Center in the LKSC.
