Zachariah Rodgers graduated from the University of Michigan, after serving 2 years in the Tokyo, Japan area on a volunteer Mormon youth mission. Following graduation, Zach spent 5 years as an entrepreneur in e-commerce, and went on to complete an MBA as a Hawes Scholar at Brigham Young University. After BYU, he came to Stanford where he is now working on his doctorate. Zach studies organizational behavior and strategy in the department of Management Science & Engineering. His research centers on aligning organizational outcomes with societal impact. Zach recently served as a Social Impact Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania's school of Social Policy & Practice. He has presented work at the Academy of Management (AOM), NYU Stern Social Entrepreneurship, and Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA) annual conferences. In addition, Zach has published work Strategic Management Journal and the Encyclopedia of Management Theory.
