The Stanford Neuroscience Health Center is more than just a new, high-tech home for Stanford’s outpatient neurological services.

Designed by patients, for patients, this specialized setting redefines what advanced, multidisciplinary care should look like for people with Alzheimer’s, brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, stroke, and other neurological disorders.

The Center is one of the first outpatient care settings in the nation to integrate neurology, neurosurgery, and interventional neuroradiology in a single location. By bringing together Stanford expertise in 21 subspecialties, it enables a new level of individualized treatment planning for the best possible care of each patient.

Highlights include:

• Streamlined patient registration so that patients can schedule several appointments during one visit and move from floor to floor with a single check-in
• Advanced diagnostic and imaging services,  including one of the first PET/MRI machines in North America designated for clinical use, and the only comprehensive 
   autonomic testing laboratory on the West Coast
• Innovative rehabilitation services including a mobility garden and Wellness Center offering movement classes, support groups, and lectures
• Onsite clinical trials enrollment and participation
