When I-485 applicants file Forms I-765 and I-131 at the same time, we often adjudicate the I-765 first. If approved, we issue an Employment Authorization Document without any notation about the advanced parole application. We will then adjudicate the Form I-131 separately.

Therefore, you will receive notice about your I-131 some time after notification on your I-765. There is no need to inquire about the I-131 unless it is outside of normal processing times. Adjudicating these applications separately reduces I-765 processing times.

It would have been much easier if both i-765 and I-131 have been approved at the same time and issues as a combo card. In most of the cases, USCIS does issue combo but there are many cases where only I-765 is issued and I-131 is pending.

Will you be sending these documents to hurricane Ian victims at addresses that no longer exist?

I765 & I 131 should get processed together. I have waited for 11 months for my I131 approval before it got abandoned due to my family emergency travel. You denied my expedited request and emergency request for I 131 approval and my mother passed within 2 weeks of my I131 denial.
