The vision of Mobile Device Services is to provide Stanford University, Stanford Healthcare, and Stanford Children's Health with an unparalleled enterprise mobility offering, widely known for efficient processes, expert financial management, and strategic planning. Mobile Device Services offerings include cell phones, tablets, and data connect cards.
Mobile Device Services is responsible for all aspects of running the service, including strategy and long-term planning, carrier vendor management, billing, help desk management, and procurement. Mobile Device Services has four full-time staff and contracts with a third-party mobile help desk provider.
