Everyone is talking about work-life balance but what does it really mean, and what are some specific approaches you can apply right now and in the future that will make a real difference to your personal and professional enjoyment? Academic Chats are monthly lunch-time discussion groups for graduate students who are considering a career as a faculty member. Chats are an opportunity to learn from and share experiences with others who are preparing for or launching their career as a professor.

Offered throughout the academic year, each Academic Chat focuses on a specific topic and features guest speakers from Stanford and local colleges.
