As staff leader of the Initiative, Sonali works with faculty and practitioners to foster and disseminate new knowledge in the field of value chain innovation. She manages research projects and events, and supports curriculum development. She has written case studies and articles on topics such as value chain innovation in agriculture, the performance benefits of responsible supply chain practices, and health logistics in extreme conditions. She has produced several large-scale conferences on responsible supply chains. Prior to joining the Initiative, Sonali managed projects at the Stanford Center for Social Innovation, worked in supply chain finance at PepsiCo, served as finance and administration director at the Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center, and was a consultant to several non-profit organizations. Sonali holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
