Since its launch at CES in January 2020, Snapdragon Ride Platform has steadily gained momentum with global automakers and Tier 1 suppliers worldwide. But with the announcement of an expanded product roadmap at our Automotive Redefined: Technology Showcase event on January 26, 2021, Snapdragon Ride is not only one of the automotive industry’s most advanced, scalable and fully customizable ADAS platforms available—it’s a revolution.


With the latest SoC additions to the roadmap, Snapdragon Ride now supports a full spectrum of ADAS/AD functionality, ranging from NCAP windshield-mount ADAS solutions (Level 1) at 10 TOPS, to fully autonomous driving systems (Level 4) at 700+ TOPS.


Snapdragon Ride features the industry’s first-announced scalable and fully customizable SoC platforms built on 5nm process technology. This allows automakers and Tier 1 suppliers to develop powerful and efficient designs, while supporting the trend toward zonal E/E architectures in next-gen connected cars.

Expanded software ecosystem

Snapdragon Ride now offers an expanded software ecosystem with various industry-proven and leading stacks for vision perception, parking and driver monitoring. This gives automakers and Tier 1 suppliers the flexibility to select one or a combination of various stacks that are now supported on the platform.
