Boards and Commissions

The Boards and Commissions Division provides secretarial support services to many boards and commissions. This is accomplished through collaboration with Chairpersons to develop agendas and then prepare and post them in compliance with legal requirements distributing agenda packet material to commissioners and staff, attending meetings, recording actions and writing action minutes, writing transmittals to represent commission recommendations/requests/reports back to the Board of Supervisors; and advising commissioners about Robert's Rules of Order (i.e. parliamentary procedure) or compliance with certain State or County legal mandates.
