Current Role at Stanford Oversee all clinical operations at Stanford’s Clinical & Translational Research Unit (CTRU), the major clinical research facility for Stanford Medicine. The unit supports human subject research in adult and children populations via IRB-approved trials.
Hire and supervise nursing staff, phlebotomists, dietary and medical assistants. Build and deliver educational curriculum to clinical research nurses and trial and financial coordinators. Coach staff on supervisory development, oversee personnel professional proficiency and certifications for clinical staff. In charge of maintaining environmental/facility and clinical safety at the CTRU, including nursing excellence during daily practice and clinical emergencies. Develop and write standards of clinical practice, including SOPs and internal workflows for the CTRU. Responsible for clinical metrics, service reports for billing and management of provisioned budget for clinical services.
