New enhancements to My Career Dashboard

The CMC is proud to announce several enhancements to the job board section of My Career Dashboard.  The improvements are based on feedback from students, alumni and employers and reflect the commitment of the CMC to help you better connect with world-class opportunities.

Key Benefits:

  1. Enhanced search and review functionality
  2. Reduced time required to apply for jobs
  3. Added tracking to help you complete applications for jobs of interest

Enhance the Job Search and Review Functionality

  • To speed the review of jobs, users will now be able to open job descriptions in different browser tabs using the “Preview” icon, found below each job title in the job list.
  • A “Reviewed” column has been added to the job list and the on-campus recruiting list.  The functionality mirrors marking emails as read and is intended to help you easily filter out jobs that you’ve already seen.
  • Informational tool tips have been added to icons and column headers on the job list to allow you to more quickly identify the intended functionality.

Reduce the Time Required to Apply for Jobs

  • Directly submit resumes and cover letters to employers, using methods similar to the on-campus recruiting process
    • Since employers will now be accepting applications directly through our system, you will also see reminders at the top of each job posting not to share GSB jobs outside the GSB community or with other jobs boards as it reduces opportunities for you, your classmates and alumni, and may result in loss of CMC privileges
    • You’ll see a warning message will pop-up when your dashboard session is about to expire, so that you aren’t logged out of the system in the middle of an application.

Help You Stay on Track

  • If you have placed any jobs from the job board on your Hotlist, you’ll receive email reminders when the application deadline for these jobs is approaching.
  • Additional fields and formatting have been added to the job search agent email to help you better identify the ones of interest to you
