Congratulations on your admission to the Stanford Graduate School of Education (GSE)! On behalf of my colleagues, I would like to welcome you to our diverse and intellectually vibrant community of education scholars, practitioners and leaders.
We know Stanford GSE may be one of several options you have for graduate study and invite you to take time to learn about us. Our principal aim now is to help you make a wise decision about your academic future. But since we have already considered with great care whether your talents and ambitions mesh well with our program, we will be delighted if you all decide to join our incoming cohort.
Much of the information you need to get started at GSE can be found in the Admitted Students Guide or by contacting the Academic Services staff. From information about our Admit Day, to resources at Stanford, to getting settled in the neighborhood, we are here to assist you in any way we can as you decide on a graduate program. We very much look forward to meeting you during Admit Day, March 10th for doctoral students and April 4th for master's students, when you will have an opportunity to meet the wonderful faculty, students and staff who make up our community.
Again, welcome to Stanford GSE. We hope that you will decide to be a part of our community come Fall!
Sincerely,
Bryan Brown
Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Associate Professor
