We are a “one stop shop” for verifying data and processing HR PeopleSoft transactions, making corrections, and coordinating processing and system improvements. We strive to be accurate, reliable advisors who are a responsive and accommodating extension of your team.HR Transaction Services (HRTS) has implemented a continuous improvement program, with ongoing measurement of both timeliness and accuracy, to ensure high quality and reliability of Stanford’s HR data. Futhermore, job aids can be used to create or maintain job or position records, including forms for transactions, in the HR Management System section.

Reminder: HRTS will be completely closed at the end of business on Friday, December 18, 2015 through Sunday, January 3, 2016. The hractions@stanford.edu email queue and the telephone messages (725-9079) will be monitored infrequently during winter closure. Only extreme emergency situations will be processed during this time. HRTS will re-open for business bright and early on Monday, January 4, 2016.
Standard Transaction Deadlines
- Single transactions will be acknowledged and/or completed within 24 hours, i.e. by the same time tomorrow (or next business day). Exceptions: (1) when transaction effective date is within a future pay period, and (2) when early completion would have adverse downstream impacts (e.g. a reclassification from NX1 to EX1 performed too early would impact leave accruals and timecards).
- Small Batch transactions (Less than 50 transactions) will be acknowledged and/or completed within 48 hours, i.e. by the same time two business days later. The same two exceptions above apply.
- Large Batch transactions (50 transactions or more) should be submitted at least five (5) business days prior to Payroll deadline, or scheduled in advance.
- Transactions received by 5pm, three (3) business days prior to the PeopleSoft Payroll deadline, will be processed to meet the Payroll deadline.
- Taleo Job Posting Requests: will be will be acknowledged and/or completed within 24 hours, i.e. by the same time tomorrow (or next business day). Exceptions: when a new position needs to be created, and the request is received on PeopleSoft lock-out days.

Additional Benefits/Questions:
Exclusive New Hire Privacy Portal to collect the birth date and SSN for new hires. No need to wait for the completed I-9 or phone call from future hires to collect this protected data prior to processing the hire into PeopleSoft.

Service Level Agreements
- HRTS operates under a Service Level Agreement.
- The SLA provides clarity of roles and responsibilities with participating areas, and defines the service level expectations of both the requesting group and HRTS.
