I still think that if there is a +1 button on G+ there should be one on YT -
maybe they have wierd profile settings or something
Comment reply threads will still exist from the old YT comment system, but you won't be able to thumbs up any of the replies because they weren't linked to G+,,
Or maybe it's a glitch in the G-matrix and it'll all sort out later on down the track ~ ~ ~

i think u need google+. u dont have to use g+ but u can sign up for one and always post on ur wall that g+ sucks...thats what im gonna do! also, theres a little bell in the top right that will show notifications for replies.
