I dunno. I just found it pretty easy to determine. Film didn't always mean a worse picture dynamically. Digital has had to do catching up to film for a long time

You can get re cans for .16/ft or shorties for .12/ft.
The camera I rent is $1600/week. (Full kit, filters, lenses, etc)
Film stock was $384=3,200ft (Over an hour in 2 perf)
Post is $1043 ish (this is what I got the last time I was there.
I shot my last project at 6:1. You can make great images for low cost with film if you really do your homework and plan.
An Alexa with no extras can be $1500/day. At least in the bay area where I am.
