Biography

Kristi is the Communications Manager for the Center for Ocean Solutions in the Stanford Woods Institute.  She has nearly 20 years' experience creating and implementing public education, community outreach and media campaigns.  As the former Partnerships and Communications Officer for the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA), Kristi has a strong background in partnership development, strategic communications and media relations.  Her specialty includes translating complex research in a manner that informs and inspires.  

Kristi has a Master's Degree in Public Administration, is the former Outreach Coordinator for PBS Station KCTS in Seattle, and is a retired Peace Corps Volunteer from Zaire, Central Africa (now the Democratic Republic of Congo).  She and her family currently live in Pacific Grove where they love to bike, hike, kayak and standup paddleboard.
