Winning Photos from the 2015 SLAC Physics Photowalk
The SLAC Photowalk took a group of photographers, both amateur and professional, behind the scenes to photograph SLAC's world-class science facilities, including the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS) X-ray laser and the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource (SSRL). The three winning photos will compete in the Global Physics Photowalk against photos taken at other labs around the world. In addition to the three winners, 17 other SLAC Photowalk pictures received honorable mentions (scroll below and click on the thumbnails to view larger versions or open a slide show).
To see winning photos from the other participating labs and vote for your favorite to win the Global Physics Photowalk People's Choice award, visit the Global Physics Photowalk page at Interactions.org.
