Thu 10 Mar

Event Overview

Greg Edwards has been part of the California art scene since the 1960s, first in Southern California and now in the Bay Area. A maker of meticulous drawings and gestural abstract paintings, Edwards thinks often of the legacy of slavery and of what it is to be a black person in the art world.

Join Professor Alexander Nemerov of the Stanford Art and Art History Department as he discusses the art and life of Greg Edwards with the artist himself. The event is part of "The Ethics of Democracy" series.
