The Department of Theater & Performance Studies (TAPS) integrates theory, criticism, and performance. The interdisciplinary department welcomes students from across campus who want to be involved in intensive, innovative, intellectual work.

A dozen theater and performance student groups hold auditions for experienced and first-time performers each fall.
