Situated on an estate formerly owned by Darius Ogden Mills, this city's name derives from "Mills" and the Scottish word "brae" or "rolling hills." Today, the Millbrae BART station is the largest intermodal terminal west of the Mississippi, featuring a cross-platform connection to Caltrain.
