Make a Donation!   - Make a donation to help your favorite City park or to honor someone special!  There are five parks funds to choose from.  The funds go towards the direct cost of buying and installing everything we need to keep our parks in great shape.  This includes playground equipment, trees and landscaping, picnic tables, games and sports equipment for youth, educational supplies at the Nature Center, transportation for youth programs, and waste receptacles to help keep parks clean.  Memorial benches are another way to honor someone special.  All donations of $50 or more are tax-deductible.  For more information, contact Wanda Williams at the Parks Administration Office at (510) 981-6700, or by email at wwilliams@cityofberkeley.info, or at the City’s parks website:  http://www.cityofberkeley.info/PRW/ [more...]
