Stanford University School of Medicine is among the nation's top medical schools and has an international reputation for innovation in biomedical science and in training future leaders in medicine. Over the past decade, there has been a concerted effort to diversifying the faculty in the School of Medicine in order to enhance the School's ability to innovate and train the next generation of leaders. This goal is being accomplished by improving the pipeline of diverse faculty, recruiting leaders in medicine that will enhance the diversity of the faculty, and creating an environment of support for all faculty by diversifying the School's leadership.
This aspect of the COE website demonstrates the School of Medicine diversity in its leadership and distinguished faculty, and links to the website for the Office of Leadership and Diversity, an office which is dedicated to increasing the School's diversity among its faculty and leadership.
