190T.1/192T Flash Fiction & Prose Poetry: The class will explore the range of the prose poem and flash fiction forms and the boundaries of the genre. This course may be counted towards the prose or poetry track for the CW minor.
190T.2 Novel Writing Intensive: In this course every student will plan, begin, and complete a short novel, and participate in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).

9CT Creative Expression in Writing - Road Trip America with Kai Carlson-Wee: Explores the art and literature of the great American road trip. Includes reading and writing in a variety of genres, workshopping of personal projects, and campus and local field trips. Enroll directly in Axess – no permission number required.
190T.1/191T.1 Family Stories with Dana Kletter: Using short stories, personal essays, and memoir, examines various ways to approach family history, negotiate memory, and locate the story within our stories.
