Join a lively discussion on developing and licensing innovative new biomedical technologies and diagnostic platforms featuring Stephen Quake, DPhil, moderated by Atul Butte, MD, PhD. Quake’s interests lie at the nexus of physics, biology, and biotechnology. His research is focused on developing new forms of biological automation and applying these tools to problems of medical interest. His inventions include a blood test that tells a pregnant woman whether her fetus has Down syndrome and an eye implant that would allow patients to take measurements of eye pressure from home.
