02-520 and 02-524 project

Project Description

The 02-520 and 02-524 project will renovate the entire 37,235 gsf of the existing buildings. The renovation will unify two separate buildings by creating a central atria entry. The joint structure will share circulation, elevator, stairs, and corridors. The scope of work includes extensive code upgrades (seismic, exiting, building infrastructure and total mechanical, engineering and plumbing systems (MEPS);elevator installation; restroom expansions and upgrades; the addition of several project- based teaching facilities; and the replacement of the Building 02-520 clerestory structural support system).

In addition, the scope will include limited exterior upgrades to be designed under the guidelines of the Panama Mall Master Plan.

Safety Reminders
  • No unauthorized persons may enter the construction site without the permission of Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction Company
  • Any Stanford visitor to the site needs to be accompanied by staff from the Department of Project Management
  • Hard hats, closed toe shoes, long pants and shirts with sleeves are required on the jobsite at all times
